A leading catering and facility management service provider in Tanzania, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Banqueting Chef to lead and manage banqueting kitchen operations for events and functions in Dar es Salaam.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Plan, develop, and execute banquet and event menus in line with client requirements
✅ Lead, supervise, and coordinate banqueting kitchen staff before, during, and after events
✅ Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, taste, and consistency
✅ Coordinate closely with banquet service, events, and logistics teams for seamless execution
✅ Control food costs, portioning, wastage, and kitchen budgets
✅ Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
✅ Manage procurement, inventory, and proper storage of food items
Qualifications:
🎓 Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field
💼 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banqueting, large-scale events, or hotel kitchen operations
👨🍳 Proven leadership and hands-on experience as a senior or executive chef
💻 Basic knowledge of food costing, inventory control, and reporting
💡 Creative, organized, able to work under pressure, and flexible with event schedules
